'Lent Is Not a Self Help Program'

I don't agree with everything in this post. (Media fasts just annoy me -- who am I supposed to talk to if everyone is fasting from media? Heck, I might even end up out of a job!) But a lot of it did my soul good. So I'm posting it here in the hope that some of you guys will get something good out of it too.
