I was poking around on eBay, as one does, when I came across this. I'd known, but forgotten, that Gene did a one-season TV series where he played a priest. I hadn't known that it had made it to DVD. So of course, I had to order it, and it just got here. Thirty episodes of Gene the priest! How much fun is this gonna be?

Date: 2012-03-27 11:59 pm (UTC)I agree completely with your theory that Gene ended up in a lot fewer 'clunkers' than many of his contemporaries. He's always been a draw for me. If he's in it I'll watch it and obviously Singin' and Paris are accepted in our home as - if it's on I'm watching it - put the remote down - slowly.
