It's just dawned on me that the way I've been doing the Gene Kelly countdown -- starting with Day 10, etc. -- doesn't make much sense, even for a countdown. (One would generally count the song-and-dance numbers backwards, but not the actual days, wouldn't one?)

But I've been doing it that way for five days, so I guess I may as well finish it that way.

Same here. Did you ever listen to "Bleak Expectations" on BBC Radio? There was a great line in one episode: "You do the English." (You know, instead of "You do the math.") :-) I'd love to put that on a T-shirt.

It's really fun! It's a spoof of Dickens. Very broad farce, so it's different in many ways from "Cabin Pressure." (It has Martian invasions and Parliament blowing up and stuff like that.) But it's still fun.
