Yeah, I've been rather disappointed at the - broadness - of the show. It was more acceptable when they could possibly pull back from it - and the episode revealing Red's secret came close to subtle - but now they're not even trying anymore. They've very definitely given themselves over to the chewing of the scenery as routine.

I'm not going to stop watching quite yet - but I'm definitely raising an eyebrow at the show.
