Resolutions

I have decided to make FUN resolutions this year, because they're the easiest kind to keep!

1. I resolve to take a weekly swing dancing class.

2. I resolve to read Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, which has been sitting on my shelf staring at me (so to speak) for I don't know how many years now.

3. I resolve to actually continue that Our Mutual Friend fic of which I wrote the first chapter all the way back in . . . March. Good grief. And to write more fic in general. And to write more, period. And -- this is starting to sound too much like work. Better quit there!

1 - Video, or it didn't happen!

*ducks*

2 - I've wanted to read that too, just because it weighs a TON. Tho' I still don't know what it's exactly about.

3- MOAR FIC is always a good thing.

Awww. I don't know whether I like more that you resolved to make fun resolutions (and your reasoning sounds excellent to me), or that I don't think you were quite carrying it out by #3. ;)

Swing? Sounds like a terrific way to get pumped-up. Do you already know other kinds of dancing?

Re: #2. I got it a few months ago, when it was cited as sort of inspiration/scene-setting for our costumers' guild Regency Fairy Tea. Now we're just doing a fairy picnic, but I still want to go with the Regency Fairy motif. I haven't started it yet, though, partially put off by the varying reviews. I practically never read "popular" stuff anyway, because I don't tend to like it (AT ALL). Your thoughts?
