People are so weird

Facebook friend posts some sort of Joe Paterno video montage on her page. I make a remark about feeling sorry for the little abused boys. Then I hear that Paterno just died. I add another comment to say I didn't know that before, and I'm sorry if I was offensive. But it doesn't go through because, it turns out, she's just defriended me.

So okay, it may have looked like I was intentionally speaking ill of the dead, but that's worth defriending someone over? Really?
