Down for the count

Hope everyone had a good Fourth. I spent mine being sick. (At least TCM had a good Independence Day lineup!) I picked up some nasty bug from my mother -- it starts with a bad sore throat (that hit on Tuesday evening), goes into a fever (Wednesday through Friday), and then settles into a cough that WILL NOT quit (ongoing). I haven't been able to go to the office in nearly a week -- just a trip to the library yesterday afternoon was enough to wipe me out, so an hour-plus commute is out of the question for now. My intern's going to forget what I look like.

And now word comes that my boss has it, so sounds like I've played my part in keeping it going. I don't know how far and how fast it's going to spread, but everyone stay inside and take your Vitamin C!
