A happy anniversary

 One year ago today, I got fired. It was the best thing that possibly could have happened to me. I didn't see it that way then, but I do now -- so much so that I had a celebratory dinner and a glass of spumante tonight! I got out of a deeply toxic environment and eventually found a job that I absolutely love, with interesting work and great people. Even though I've had a lot of emotional fallout to deal with, I'm so thankful now that things turned out the way they did.

For those of you dealing with horrible circumstances right now, I pray that you'll see good come out of the evil, too.
