Epilogue to the saga of Barnes & Noble

Remember that episode? The epilogue took place the other day, when they e-mailed me that I was getting a refund for the book I sent back. I called to tell them I didn't need a refund because they had sent the replacement. Suffice it to say, that phone call went very much like the previous phone call.

I give up. Just throw money at me, B&N. Throw all the money you want. I can handle it.

Ha ha! Well, it seems like you did all you could to fix things on your end. It's not your fault other people are crazy!

I missed your first post, so I went back and then read the current one. I think you did fine. I had almost the same experience where I received an expensive item I hadn't purchased as well from B&N.

I tried to return it, but it was sent back because the return label didn't cover shipping. Shipping would have cost an arm and a leg, so I gave it away to a coworker.

Starting to wonder if B&N has a really funky system that just glitches like mad. ;)

Well, at least you tried! Now you can enjoy all that money-throwing with a clear conscience! ;)
