Hardest poll ever

Greatest Stars of the 1940s

After much musing and fretting, I finally went with Barbara Stanwyck, Bette Davis, Cary Grant, Claude Rains, Gene Kelly, Jimmy Stewart, Joseph Cotten, Judy Garland, Ingrid Bergman, and Katharine Hepburn.

. . . But I had six or seven runners-up!

Oh, my, that sounds like a tough slew of choices to make. O.o

I so understand your problem: limit the choice to only ten!?

But anyway: I selected many of the same ones you did:
Barbara Stanwyck, Bette Davis, Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, James Stewart, Judy Garland, Ingrid Bergman, William Powell, Humphrey Bogart, Fred Astaire.

They were so many talented and enjoyable actors and actresses on that list, picking just ten seems impossible... ^_^
