I have revised my opinion slightly. I'm okay with Kylo Ren being redeemed, but only -- ONLY -- because his father wanted it. If not for that, I'd happily see the little weasel given the full Dante's Inferno.
Um, well, II'm almost sorry I read your previous post, though you certainly did warn me! It strikes me that J.J. Abrams is very bad at having original ideas and very good at repackaging classics. Not always so good (based on what he did to my beloved "Star Trek" ) at understanding what made a classic a classic in the first place.
But I am going to see this anyway, and I think now that I'll probably cry. I love Han. He should definitely get whatever he wants, up to and including his son's redemption.
But. But, but, but. What happened to his and Leia's kids? Where are Jaina and Jacen and Anakin Solo? Or was this Kylo Ren Anakin in a previous life?
Heh, good point. But then, he did always want to be *just* like his Grandpa . . . and his Grandpa did get a space version of Dante's Inferno in the prequel movies . . .
