Has anyone else noticed this?

Apparently, if you have a baby girl these days, the thing to do is to put a gigantic cabbage-like THING on her head every time you photograph her. Not cute little bows or headbands -- those seem to be out. My Facebook feed these days is full of tiny girls looking like they're dressed for the Ascot scene from My Fair Lady.

I don't know what brought this on, but I'm picturing an entire generation of toddlers ending up at the chiropractor with neck injuries!

No, not hats. Usually they're headbands with either giant bows or giant flowers. Like this:

I mean, there's nothing wrong with them. It's more funny than anything. But I personally think most babies look a lot cuter without giant cabbage-shaped things on their heads! :-)

Heh, I love these! My mom commented that I probably wished they were a thing when I was little - I wear hair flowers now, after all. :D Mostly I think they're funny, because they ARE so big. The flower is eating her head! It's also funny because it's about the only opportunity to put something on the baby's head, when she's too small to pull it off. Most older babies in my experience are amusingly determined to pull off any headwear.

When I was a baby, I had so little hair my mom had to Scotch-tape a bow on my head! :-)

AAAAWW! Little Charlie Brown head babies! I love them! (I was one too. Not sure if my parents tried this trick. I'm afraid to ask. LOL!)

Hahaha! I had enough tufts that my mother could get at least a little bow to stay. Usually I see the really big ones on headbands so hopefully no tape is involved nowadays!

My big sister put those on both of her daughter's heads as babies and they actually loved them, sometimes insisting on wearing them. They love picking out which giant flower to wear on their head every day!
