Looking back

As we writers are prone to feeling like we've never done enough, I thought it might be good for the morale to look back over the year and see just how much I've actually published.

So we have:

20 YA/preteen book reviews for BreakPoint, plus 1 book list
8 feature articles for BreakPoint
8 articles for Christ & Pop Culture
5 articles for Aleteia
3 articles for Christianity Today
2 articles for The Stream
2 articles for DC Metro Theater Arts
1 article (not yet published) for the Dickens Society Blog
1 article for Hollywood in Toto
1 article for My Written Life
1 article for First Things
1 article for The Weekly Standard

And I finished writing one book and started another.

(And that's not counting assorted blog posts on my own blogs.)

No wonder I'm pooped.

. . . And, of course, I STILL don't feel like I've done enough. This is a sickness.

What a great list! And congrats on such a prolific year. :)

I have a thing where if I quit working on homework before 10:30 or 11:00 at night, I feel guilty, even if I've already accomplished everything I planned to accomplish that day. I think I need to be more intentional about cultivating a Sabbath mentality of resting in God on an everday basis. Fulfilling our callings isn't about Doing The Most Things.
