I have kept this in for so long, I've just got to say it somewhere -- and where better than my nice new Dreamwidth?

So here it is:

I don't understand people who think La La Land is a bad movie. I know: different tastes, respect for others' opinions, etc., etc., and so forth. I have been respectful as the dickens, I promise. But I simply don't understand them. And I never will.

It was good, but I wish it had been... more. Loved some of the songs, though. I may watch it again when it comes on video/online/however people watch movies these days.

I really want to see La La Land eventually. We just never even rent movies anymore.... usually too tired after putting the girls to bed.

La La Land wasn't flawless, but I don't understand the hate either. I think a lot of people are blowing it out of proportion. What's wrong with peacefully enjoying some fun music and pretty dancing?
