I guess that's SLIGHTLY more odd. That being said, you have a lot of friends who love classic literature. Many of those friends (myself included) are fans of Sherlock Holmes, and probably had a phase where it was ALL ABOUT HOLMES.
Had Sherlock not come out, I'd still say I loved Sherlock Holmes, but I wouldn't be talking about it all the time. Maybe that's what's going on?
