Guilt trip time

I've barely touched the piano all week . . . and my lesson's on Tuesday. Every day I plan to practice, and then more often than not, the day gets totally away from me. And while my teacher is very understanding and patient, it makes me feel bad to play poorly at my lesson.

The worst thing about taking piano at this stage of my life is needing to make time to practice -- and not always being able to. It's so different from taking it when I was a kid!
