Mar. 18th, 2016 04:27 pmSo who else saw the miniseries version of "And Then There Were None" last weekend? That sucker was dark. I mean DARK. Even darker than the book in some ways.
That long-drawn-out hanging scene at the climax was so much gruesomer than Christie's version. (I don't mean explicit -- it wasn't explicit, thank goodness -- just gruesome.)
I was rather proud of myself for getting all the way through it and not being overly traumatized. Maybe even cowards outgrow their cowardice eventually. On the other hand, I did get pretty freaked out when I had to go downstairs in the dark afterward to adjust the thermostat . . . so maybe not.
