My Christmas gift to you all

As Advent begins, I'm going to do something I did a couple of years ago. People seemed to think it was a good gift. :-) So here it is again:

Leave a prayer request in the comment section, and I promise to pray for it every day until Christmas. It can be as big or small as you desire. It can even be an unspoken one, if need be. Just anything in your life that could use some prayer!

I don't want to give a lot of detail, but there is a bad memory from a long time ago that I can't seem to let go of. It's nothing really terrible but it bothers me and worries at me. Can you pray I would be free of it?

My brother started radio and chemotherapy today for throat cancer...quite a brutal regime, but with curative intent. Prayers for fortitude and resilience for him and his wife would be appreciated.

I am so sorry for your loss, but glad to hear she went peacefully. It is a great comfort to know when our loved ones no longer suffer.
