If you possibly can, go see Bandstand in movie theaters tonight, for its encore showing. I saw it last summer on Broadway and absolutely fell in love with it, and it's such a gift that Fathom Events picked it up and I got to see it again on Monday! Got to take my parents, too, and they loved it. It's not about the show "American Bandstand" (I think the title is a major reason that it didn't do as well as it should have), it's about World War II vets, and it hit me right in the feels. I've about worn out the cast album already.

Now to hope and pray for a DVD . . .
