YouTube changed their embedding to iframe. Historically, LiveJournal hasn't allowed iframe because it can be a security risk. However, there is a fix in the works to allow users to post iframe videos (at least from YouTube & Vimeo).
Until the fix goes live, you have two choices: 1. Copy & paste the embed code directly into the HTML editor (DO NOT use the "Embed Media" window)
or 2. Check "Use old embed code" below the video you want to embed; copy-paste the old embed code (sans iframe). (Note that you have to use this option in comments, I believe.)
