It's been a great day for country music

First of all, happy 27th birthday to Chris Young! In honor of the day, his latest video, which I don't think I've posted here before. The style of the video is a little bare-bones for my taste, but I think the song is gorgeous. And oh, that smile . . .

Also, Josh Turner's new album came out today, and I love it. Here's his current single:

But the song I've been listening to obsessively is called "Find Me a Baby," and his wife and young sons do a little singing on it, and it is BEYOND ADORABLE. I really, really hope it's his next single.

And finally! Edens Edge released their first album today! I cannot wait to hear it. Unfortunately, I have to wait, because the deluxe edition with three extra songs is available only from Cracker Barrel (why does the music business do that? If you've got songs to share, you should make them available everywhere!), and so I had to order it online this morning. But in the meantime, here's their current single:

Auugh, I hear you on the multiple "special edition" CD releases! Do they really expect us to buy the full album three different times from three different companies just to get all the "extra" songs? I guess it's no different than special edition DVD releases... but then, that annoys me, too.
