Prayers, please!

My sister and I are headed to NYC for a little vacation this weekend. We're supposed to leave on Friday, so of course, today I started fighting this cold that my parents have been passing around for the past few days. I'm kind of worried about it, because I have a history of getting majorly sick and missing big events. (The day I was supposed to go to my boss's funeral last spring, I was too sick to get out of bed.) 

I'm battling the bug as hard as I can, and would be most grateful for your prayers! I know it's a little thing, but we haven't had a vacation together since we were kids (she hardly ever gets to go on vacation at all), and we've got theater tickets and everything, and we've both been REALLY looking forward to this.

Done and done. But try to convince any germs that you've got nothing big coming up? Sometimes they can be fooled. Tell them what you'd REALLY hate is to miss all that work you'll have to catch up on when you come BACK...
