George VI and Elizabeth are going to show up in Hyde Park on Hudson, a new movie about FDR. Samuel West and Olivia Colman do the honors this time around.

As I read somewhere, this will be the third time in as many years that Bertie and Elizabeth have been on the big screen (The King's Speech, W.E., and now this one). If that TKS sequel ever gets made -- I'm trying not to get my hopes and/or fears up -- and if it doesn't take too long to make, it could possibly be four in four. Popular fellow, our Bertie.

(I saw the HPH trailer when I went to see Anna Karenina. Now there was a fascinating film. I may do a review of it at some point.)

*raises hand* I for one would to be curious to read that review. I just read the book last year and thought it very boring.

According to Sasha Stone, Hyde Park On Hudson has a far less romantic view of Bertie and Elizabeth than King's Speech. Elizabeth snaps at him to stop stuttering. etc ...

Yeah, I saw that after I had posted this. Don't quite like the sound of that . . .
