Books, glorious books!

Just wanted to show you all what I ordered with the gift card I won in the Book Riot contest!





Saw some of these editions at the local bookstore, and they're gorgeous. They have these beautiful laser-cut illustrations. I've been wanting to get one for a long time, and I picked Much Ado because I want to read that before the new film version comes out. (I've seen it, but I don't think I've ever actually read it all the way through. File me under "Poor Excuse for an English Major.")



I have read S&S, but -- don't laugh -- I've been coveting this edition of it ever since Finch used it to propose to Grace on Person of Interest. (Hey, I said don't laugh!!)



Combines two of my favorite things, Audrey Hepburn and Italy! And thanks to a coupon from B&N, I got a good discount on it.

I wanted to share these because, again, I'm so grateful to all of you who voted for and/or encouraged me!

I've got a similar weakness. It's almost like having a doll that has several different costumes -- you've got a book in a casual outfit and then in some fancy outfits. (Strange analogy, but it just popped into my head! :-) )

Awesome!! I have never seen those Shakespeare editions before but now I want them allll. *drools* And d'aww, that's a very precious reason to buy a book! You can never have too many editions of same book, I refuse to accept it...

That Audrey book looks fun too! I saw a magazine article with some of the pictures and it was fabulous.
