Just found out -- thanks, tempestsarekind! -- that Ludwig van Beethoven and Jane Austen share a birthday (yes, it's today).

For some obscure reason, this pleases me greatly.

That's really very cool. I knew yesterday was Beethoven's birthday, of course, but I never knew it was also Jane Austen's.
