I've had such a nice vacation -- got a lot of reading and writing done, though not quite as much as I wanted to. (It's never quite as much as I want to!) I wish it could just go on and on!

I find that, after the difficulty of dragging myself in, I leave the first day back happy to have seen people again. Hope it turns out to be that kind of day for you!

Well, I actually telecommuted. But it was better that I did, because apparently my boss spent his vacation dreaming up ways to make my life more difficult, and had I been at the office, I might have been tempted to stomp on his foot or something. :-)

Haha! This was my old boss. We'd get in and have a billion emails from him, all sent at 2:30 am and all containing the most ridiculous wild goose chases, and then we'd have to pretend like we were attending to all of theme until he finally forgot about them. I remember my stomach just dropping when I'd see an inbox full of emails from him.

It gets easier once your back in the routine, I think, but that first morning after the alarm goes... gah.
