Has anyone ever scored a 100 (or whatever a perfect score is) on the English portion of the GRE, and a 0 on the math? Because it's possible that's what I'm going to do. The English in the prep book I'm studying could not be easier, but the math is kicking. My. Butt.

You have my sympathies. That's just how it would go for me as well. I'm fine with words, but numbers, forget it!

Oh, man, I'm sorry the math is that difficult. :(

YES. That is exactly what happened to me when I took the GRE! But I still got into grad school; I can only assume that English programs did not care overmuch about my math score.

Really? That makes me feel a little bit better. :-)

Oh, good! :) It is really, truly what happened to me - I think partly because the computer version of the test wouldn't let me skip to the problems I knew how to do, but mostly because I am terrible at math!

Depending on what you're going to grad school for, they honestly might not care that much about the math score. :) If you're going for English or creative writing, the math score is kind of like, "Eh, that's fine."
