Kind of a rough day . . . but I helped my neighbor find her missing foster kitten (she'd gotten stuck in the loose lining under the sofa).

So it wasn't all bad. :-)

She was under there for four hours! My neighbor was frantic! We don't know why they couldn't hear her -- either she must have gone to sleep, or she wasn't loud enough to be heard. She's only eight or nine weeks old. But Teresa's friend from the Humane Society told her to try turning over the furniture, so we tipped the couch over, and out she came! And none the worse for wear, thank God.
