litlover12 Today my dad got to ride in the National Memorial Day Parade, in a helicopter like one of those he flew in Vietnam. (On the ground, not in the air.) He had the BEST time. It was like the parade he never got when he actually got back from the war, when the country was so torn (I know, some things never change) and people were harassing soldiers instead of welcoming them home. I'm so glad and grateful he got to do that.
