Keira Knightley is out of the My Fair Lady remake.

I have nothing against her personally. I've never even heard/read an interview with her. Perhaps she's a really nice girl.

But I just don't care for her as an actress. I don't find her attractive in any way and I don't find her performances particularly convincing. She just does nothing for me. Why this chick continues to be in every movie baffles me!

It was never really Keira I objected to -- I did have my doubts about her singing voice, but the people in charge don't seem to care about that in any of their prospects. It's the remake itself. If this is the first sign of a sinking ship, I will weep for joy! :-)

Here's the thing I don't get about the remake: the one thing they can do that the original film didn't, to make it really different/worth doing (besides shooting on location in London, which...okay?) is hire someone who can really sing as Eliza. Anything else, and why bother, because is anyone else really going to live up to Audrey Hepburn?
