Having another gum problem -- possibly another abscess. At this point I truly don't understand what is going on. I've been using the water pick faithfully, as instructed by the dentist, and yet here we go again. Please pray they can figure out the problem, and fix this without having to yank another tooth. I'm only 42 -- I don't want to lose all my teeth yet! Thanks, friends.

Oh, no. That sounds awful, and worse to not know why it's happening. Maybe you can get a referral to a specialist?

Thanks! Turns out it was only a cut this time, not an abscess, so all they had to do was give me a good cleaning to help keep it from getting infected. I'm SO RELIEVED. :-)
