Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I am so happy that you 1) watched it and 2) liked it!
And thanks for the info on the actress. I had no clue who she was, and it's nice to know she's really a singer. She was lovely, wasn't she? I could see why the fish were drawn to her singing. It was gorgeous.
I'm glad that, instead of it being a retelling of "A Christmas Carol" with the Doctor Who characters, it became the Doctor being inspired by the story itself and using it to get through to Sardick. I felt it was a nice twist on the usual formula (not that I'm complaining about "the usual formula" - heavens knows how much I love this story).
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! (and really, don't try to think too much about the time-travel-history-rewriting stuff - it does make your head hurt ^_^)
That might be my favorite Christmas episode ever. It had an actual Christmas theme! All the other episodes just happened to occur during Christmas. And I loved how actual carols were used to calm the sky.
