I need this movie NOW, please.

I don't know yet how good the new adaptation of Gatsby is going to be. What I do know is that it is going to look FREAKING GORGEOUS.

If online reactions to the Gatsby trailer were mixed, reactions to this one are decidedly NOT mixed. The reaction of everyone I've seen is, basically, "WOW."

That goes for me too.

Trailer for the new Great Gatsby. The trailer music is ALL wrong -- no version of Gatsby should ever be associated with anything but '20s music; it's just too much a work of its time -- but with any luck that's not the music that will be in the actual movie. The visuals are certainly appealing, and from the lines I could hear, they're sticking pretty faithfully to the text of the book. They've even got the eyes of Dr. T. J. Eckleburg! When I think of all the time we spent in a college English class exhaustively analyzing those eyes . . . though if you asked me now what they signify, I honestly don't think I could tell you.

(The sex scenes I could do without, but that's Hollywood for you.)

And it's always good when Leo DiCaprio gets a role where his eternal boyishness can work for him, rather than against him.
