Lovely piece in The Atlantic, well done. And thank you, as well, for the embedded link to an equally marvellous piece on John Finnemore. It's just that much easier to pull a character together if the script is good; and Finnemore is a brilliant writer.

Huh, I like it! And call me an idiot, but I had no idea that Cabin Pressure was a radio show. I'm addicted to old radio shows, almost exclusively American ones from the 40s and 50s (with one BBC SF show from the 50s). Two questions: (1) Is the content "clean" for whatever your definition is? And (2) Where can I get it that doesn't involve i-anything? In many ways I'm a technological Luddite.

Yes, I would say it's quite clean. You can get it on Audible.com -- I'm not certain, but I think they probably have all four seasons by now. Hope you enjoy it! I'm a bit of a Luddite, so I sympathize.

Oh, wow. I did not realize Cabin Pressure was a radio show, or had Cumberbatch in it. Ahhhh, yet another thing to add to the list. Much obliged, and fantastic article! The more appreciation Cumberbatch is granted, the better!

(Correct me if I'm wrong, though, but I've heard some pretty good things about The Pursuit of Happyness, and from what little I've seen of the movie, it seemed really different from Will Smith's usual fare.)
